Just 14 days to go to the Grafham Cat Open.

Don't forget that you need to pre-enter by Thursday 14 October to take part. This even applies to Club Members. Full details are on the Grafham website and also the Sprint 15 website. I think that you can even phone your entry in to the office (01480 810478). The Sprint 15s will get their own start and will do a 5 race series - 3 on Saturday and 2 on the Sunday. This is one less race on the Sunday than the other classes so we can have an earlier prize giving than the other classes, which enables the travellers to make an quick escape. The shrimp problem that hit the headlines just means that you have to hose your boat off when you take it away from Grafham - no big deal.

All fast cats will be on a different course sailing upwind/downwind.

On Saturday evening the new caterers (Grafham View Catering ) will be doing a 2 course meal for £8.50 at 7pm in the upstairs bar.

We will be showing sailing DVDs on the big screen on Saturday evening, but not so loud that you can't hear the conversation.

Don't forget to get it in your diary to both sail in the Cat Open AND to attend the evening meal/videos and to catch up on the social scene
