Start proceedure
Starting sequence
Switch on 13A socket.
Switch on start box switch (rear left).
The race starting line is a line drawn between the red upright in front
of left hand window of start hut and the lozenge shape on the pole at the
right hand side of car park entrance (boats must keep between the inner and outer distance marks).
Press <5 min> button.
Race time should now indicate 00-05-00.
Press <start> button (horn will sound).
Race time should now count down.
At 4 mins to start (horn will sound).
At 1 min to start (horn will sound).
At start horn will sound.
If anybody over the line press <horn> button for approximately
3 seconds.
To shorten course.
Should the race need to be shortened, after the leading boat/boats have rounded the race mark before the start/finish line the following action should be taken.
Press <shorten course> button (this will stay illuminated) and , -
Press <horn> button 2 times for approximately 3 secs each push.
To finish race.
The finish line is a line drawn between the red upright in front of
left hand window of start hut and the outer limit mark.
Press and hold <horn> button for approx. 3 secs and , -
Press <lap> button momentarily (you can now read and record lap time)
